It's been a crafty week
I bought this art book with activities for toddlers to help them tap the "artist within". It's really cute and has a lot of great ideas. One of them was to give your child a bucket with about an inch of water and a paint brush and let them go to town all over your backyard "painting" things. Hmmmm, no mess paint that disappears when it dries? My kind of art project!! I decided to try it out with Bella and she LOVED it. She went to town painting the fences, swings, sidewalk, dad's target, toys, and plants. At one point she was painting the fence and yelled through to the neighbors house "We're painting your fence, ok??"
Katrina made a set of reindeer antlers at school and begged me to paint her nose red. Her friend Baylee was over and decided that everybody needed their hand painted, a head adornment and a red nose. (I did stop her paintbrush when she turned on the baby though).

How cute! My Mom used to let me and my sister "paint" each others faces with water. We would tell the other one what colors we were using and what it would have looked like. Oh memories!
How much fun is that. Can I come play too and do crafties??
