Field Trip to the Zoo
I chaperoned a field trip to the Sacramento Zoo with Katrina's class. It was cute to see her and all her little girlfriends. First graders are so cute. They're not creeped out by boys yet so they are for the most part all nice to each other.
Here's a picture of her and all her little friends (the boys were outnumbered so none of them were brave enough to jump in the picture with all those gigglers)

When I got to the school the kids were out on the playground and Katrina ran up and gave me a hug. One of her little friends ran up and said, "Katrina, is that your sister?" I said, "No, I'm her mom!" Then I could have kissed her when she said, "Your her mom?? You look really young!"
I'm not sure if this was a compliment or not. I think I'm supposed to want to look like Katrina's sister when she's a teenager...Oh well, I'll take what I can get.
Here's a pic of my little group I chaperoned.

There's nothing easier than chaperoning a small group of 6 year old girls. I was grateful to not have one of the "boy" groups :)

Ahh, her sister. That is so cute! I don't think I will ever look like Scarlett's sister.
What a sweet compliment. It's better than co-workers thinking your husband is your son. I don't think I look that old...
